A Guide to the Valkyrian Sanctum...

Welcome to my blog!

 My true name is Rebecca Wilson but my artistic nickname has become Valkyrie1008 as that is how I am commonly known on other creative websites. I am greatly fascinated by Norse culture, history and mythology and you will find many examples of this in my creative works. Hence my blog’s title ‘Valkyrian Sanctum’ A safe haven of creative energy for my nickname through which I help promote and keep interest in the old Viking ways alive.

In this blog you will not only find out about events in my life that affect my work and my creativity but also be able to view my latest stories/novel chapters, see photographs of the events at the Jorvik Viking Festival from this year and preceding years under the appropriate section. As well as view my textile and other creative works in a range of mediums which are under ‘Valkyrie Creations’.
